OUR COALITION
Fair Rep LA was formed in October 2021 after witnessing the contentious City Council redistricting process in Los Angeles. We aim to educate the public while advocating for local good government reforms, including the expansion of City Council and the formation of an Independent Redistricting Commission. Our goal is to reclaim power for the people by empowering Angelenos to knowledgeably participate in public hearings and discussions with their neighbors about their representational needs and concerns.

Equitable government reform can only be achieved through the collaboration and engagement of Angelenos throughout the diverse communities of the City. By working together, through conversations with residents and by supporting the demands of local communities, we can create a responsive and representative local government for all.
We aim to facilitate the drafting of a broadly agreeable City Charter Amendment that addresses the representational needs of Los Angeles residents, to be ratified by the public during the 2024 General Election.
